Description

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders, which are widely used as pressure-bearing containers in both daily life and industrial fields, may experience issues such as paint peeling, rusting, mechanical damage (dents, scratches), difficulty in opening valves, and gas leakage during long-term use. If not promptly renovated and inspected in accordance with regulations, it will not only shorten the service life of the cylinders but also potentially lead to safety accidents such as explosions and leaks, seriously threatening the safety of people's lives and property. According to the national standard GB 8334 - 1999, different specifications of LPG cylinders need to be inspected and renovated regularly. For cylinders with a capacity of 15 kg or less, the first three inspection cycles are 4 years each, and the fourth one is 3 years. For cylinders with a capacity of 50 kg, they need to be inspected every 3 years. Scrap cylinders must undergo destructive treatment and must not be re-entered into the market.
